The Number of Finalist Rounds
November 12, 2012We have decided to eliminate one round from our contest bringing down total number of finalist rounds to 4. However, as this contest is moving at a slower pace than originally planned, and there are always other contests coming up, we wanted to know if you would like the number of rounds cut further. Please take a moment and vote in the poll.

November 5, 2012Rescheduling for Judging/Hosting
November 3, 2012For the people who haven’t done their judging/hosting please check the timetable that was e-mailed to you for your new time-slot. If you have any issues please e-mail us AMV.idol@gmail.com.
What will happen if you miss your Judging Time Slot?
October 23, 2012If you can’t make your schedule judging time and you do not inform us then you will be considered a no-show. You will not get disqualified from the contest, but someone on staff will ad-lib for you, and who knows what ridiculous things they’ll say on your behalf? So if you can’t make it (or have any other scheduling concerns) send an email to amv.idol@gmail.com. Please check the email you included in your application form if you’ve yet to see the schedule.
Judging and Hosting
October 19, 2012There are two types of official AMV Idol Skype Voice chat for each round; judging and hosting. During Judging VCs particpants will face the judges (Shin-AMV, GuntherAMVs and l33tmeatwad) the hear feedback on their AMVs for the round, and find out if they will stay in the competition. During the Hosting VCs (with ViviFx and Irriadin) participants will be asked about themselves, how they feel about the contest, etc. The Judging VCs are more integreated with the contest itself, and the hosting VCs are for the sake of letting the audience get to know a bit about you during episodes.
Shout Box
October 18, 2012 by CygnetIt’s very easy for us to miss comments made in the Shout Box as it doesn’t go to anyone e-mail or the wordpress dashbroad. So any comments that are questions or about posts in general, please leave in the comment section of the post not in the shot box.
Thanks ^_^
